Passing thru LasVegasNV & ShertzTX

On our way to Houston we got to go to Las Vegas for Dalton's baptism! Here we are at Casi and Jeremy's house. Papa Kent is holding Gentrie, 3 then Dalton, 9 and Jahde, (just barely 5 and starting kindergarten this year!) then Keaton, 7 and Casi and Jeremy. Oh yeah, that's me (Nana) in the middle.

The proud parents and grandparents. Dalton's baptism was AWESOME!!!!

(Here, Jeremy is either kneeling or standing abt 120 yds behind us so as to make us appear less intimidated by his stature!! LOL!!!)

Chad (Jeremy's brother) and wife Cassy, came over just as we were getting ready to leave. We were SO happy to see them! They are great!!!

The grandparents and the OTHER grandparents.
John and Melinda Evans, our good friends, and Jeremy's folks, came to the baptism as well as Jeremy's brother McKay 17, who performed the baptism ordinance. Jer's sister Amanda and her hubby Nate were also there.

Our Keaton, and Josh, Chad and Cassy's pride and joy, the 'trouble twins'! Always together, and always finding something mischievous to do!

The Evans children:
Our grandchildren Jahde Alix, Keaton Marshall, Dalton Rick and Gentrie Alisabeth

Casi and Jeremy, the happy parents.

After Vegas, we stopped at Kent's son and daughter-in-law Kent and Carly's but they were already in bed asleep! His youngest daughter Amy was also there to see us, and we had a lovely visit over breakfast, but we took NO pictures! They left for church, and we left for Texas.

We stopped in Schertz, near San Antonio, to see Lynn's brother Dave, wife Roselyn and son Chris. We had a lovely night out at the Riverwalk - here we are at a little restaurant.

This is Chris - 16 years old and very patient with us old people!

And not bad with the camera, either!

Remember the Alamo? We walked all around but were too late to explore inside. We had a great visit, but still had to get to Houston tonight, so we were off! Another 3 and a half hours to go.....
