A Day with Lynn's Brother Dave & His Family

Saturday the 19th - Our one month Anniversary! We went to San Antonio to Dave and Rosie's again. What a treat. We drove and drove and drove way off the beaten path to a little cafe purported to have the best hamburgers in the world! Dave said he'd not actually had the best yet, so we needed to try it.






Yep- they were the best! So far...













This is it! Miles and miles from civilization and standing room only! A favorite spot for bikers along the back roads.











Later, just at sunset, we went to Enchanted Rock in Fredericksburg, or at least near there. We went to the National Museum of the Pacific War and we were treated to a show at the RockBox, a comedy and rock and roll show that was absolutely delightful!

Then, to top it off, Chris thought we should climb a mountain.





Of course, Chris has done this before with the scouts, or the Young Men's group or somebody. But Rosie and I put a limit on just how far up the rock we were willing to climb at the end of a long day!
